The Simon Mulligan Award

As many of you may be aware, our wonderful friend and founding member of NEAR, Simon Mulligan, passed away in August this year.

In honour of Simon's memory and his life long commitment to fighting racism, we at NEAR, along with our friends at County Durham Unites, have decided to set up the Simon Mulligan Award for anti-racism work.

The idea of the award is to highlight and promote all the amazing people from across the North East who contribute to the fight against racism and fascism, and who often do so without the recognition they deserve.

If you would like to nominate someone you know for the Simon Mulligan Award for their anti-racism work, please get in touch with us at info@northeastagainstracism.co.uk

Please note that the deadline for nominations will be 13th January 2021.

Further details to be announced soon
